Opened on Thursday 7 November 2019, our 23rd pier provides a fast transport option to and from central London for residents of the Royal Docks, visitors to ExCel London and travellers using London City Airport.
London's longest pier, Royal Wharf includes a 162m² viewing platform for unparalleled views along the River Thames.
Royal Wharf Pier has step-free access from street level down to the pier, which makes travel for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, and people with pushchairs very simple.
Tickets can be bought at ticket machines at the pier before travel, but to save time and money touch in and out with your Oyster or contactless card. You can also buy your tickets online or use the Uber app or the Thames Clippers Tickets app.
