The pier is well located for tourists, residents and commuters wishing to access Central London. Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Carnaby and Mayfair are all a short walk from Embankment Pier.
Tickets can be bought at ticket machines at the pier before travel, but to save time and money touch in and out with your Oyster or contactless card. You can also buy your tickets online or use the Uber app or the Thames Clippers Tickets app.

Most RB1 services only call at Embankment Pier on their westbound journey but you can still travel east aboard these services. From Embankment, RB1 will call at Westminster and London Eye (Waterloo) piers before going eastbound.

Embankment Station is just a one-minute walk away and it offers ongoing travel via the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Northern Lines. Charing Cross Underground Station is the closest railway station and is around an 8-minute walk from the pier. Charing Cross offers both underground and overground travel, connecting to the Bakerloo and Northern lines.
